woooow! thats craziness...
imagine if they had put it in Calumet. im positive they would have relocated it by the 1930s. but imagine how different MI politics wouldve been had the capitol been in the Yoopee!

This has to be my favorite. Taken on M-64 down by Marinesco, south end of Lake Gogebic.

Here's one of my favorites from this winter. I love his smile. We went snowshoeing at the Paavola Wetlands and checked out the old farmstead (which is pretty cool).

Bill - that second shot of yours makes me queezy. Too high for my comfort. Too bad I didn't have a camera on me when you guys were up at the top. You all looked so very small from where we were on the rockpile.

Steven is a great kid, you are lucky... By the way I notice a "creature" in the background behind Steven...is that the abominable copper country Yeti that is rumored to be seen in lonely solitary locations around Copper Country? :P

Funny I was thinking something similar, only was from the opposite end...was thinking I should have taken a pic of the two of you on the poor rock pile from up top...for some reason I didn't think of it, and also forgot to take a pic of the people who parked on Cliff Road, got out of the car and waved at us....don't know who they were, but we waved back and they then got their camera and took a picture of us waving.
